30 Days Internet Training: Get the Newest Recommendations For Helpful Internet Marketing and advertising Training
Article by Richard Maxwell
Just like most things in life their should be no real expectation that Internet Marketing Training is going to be the same across the board. This is true because each owner is different and has a different perspective that will be illustrated in their product offering. But what really separates the great products from the ones that just don’t deliver? We think it’s about delivering “How To” information versus “What To Do ” information.
When we look at who these products were created for in the first place then this distinction makes even more sense. Telling me “What To Do” when I have a background in the subject matter is very different then if I don’t have the needed background. Most Internet training courses are aimed at beginners who don’t have a background of Internet training and/or marketing. So know that we understand why “How To” information is superior let’s look at some of it’s parts in the rest of this article.
Intro Section
One of the key components of good “How To” products is providing the end user a way to know where they are in the sequence of activities and what is coming next. By using a visual depiction of this information it can be communicated quickly and easily. We suggest using a mind map to do this. We would even add a process flow diagram to show the sequence and contextual relationships of the topics to be covered.
Things To Be Accomplished Before
Another thing you can add to your training that will assist the user in learning is to let them know about any dependencies or things they should have done before they started this section or training. If you provide this information you can effectively lower any frustrations that may arise and increase the perceived value of your training course.
This Section Will Teach XXX
By giving the end user a quick overview you can set their expectations of what they will be spending their time and effort on as far as this specific training session is concerned. Of course this leads into the next section.
How The Activities Relate To Each Other In Time
Providing a way to visually communicate what is coming is a great way to allow your customers to see the relationship between segments of training. This also allows them to set expectations accordingly.
What We Covered
Whenever a segment of training is complete providing the user a way to see objectively what they have learned will help them do just that. Some great examples to do this involve creating a checklist of the main points and maybe even a quiz.
By making a choice to create your information in this fashion you will be making your product a lot easier to use by your potential customers. This means making sure you have a proper introduction, a things to be accomplished section, what we will be learning, a flow of related activities and a what we covered section. This kind of quality interaction leads to loyal customers in the future. It also means you will be able to sell more products and faster because you will have trained your customers to expect the best when you are involved.
